Joseph Wiltberger, Ph.D.
Principal Researcher + Strategist
I’m Joseph Wiltberger, a cultural anthropologist and human-centered researcher based in San Diego, at the crossroads of innovation and Latin America. I believe in the transformative power of design to create meaningful solutions that improve lives. With more than 15 years of experience leading collaborative research locally and internationally, I partner with organizations to translate complex regulatory and social landscapes into clear human insights that matter. Bilingual in Spanish, I connect organizations with Latin American and immigrant communities—bridging perspectives across cultures and borders to guide the design of products, services, and initiatives that people genuinely value.
