Joseph Wiltberger, Ph.D.
Principal Researcher + Strategist
I’m Joseph Wiltberger, a human-centered researcher and strategist with more than 15 years of experience leading applied research across civic technology, higher education, and international settings. I help organizations understand the people they serve to make better decisions about services, experiences, and strategy.
My background as a cultural anthropologist shapes how I approach complex organizational and cross-cultural questions. Based in San Diego, at the crossroads of innovation and Latin America, I bring deep experience working across cultures, borders, and communities throughout the Americas. My current work focuses on inclusive service design, accessibility, and responsible technology.
